About Mike Varney Physiotherapy

 

Mike Varney is now based at Harlow Leisurezone but Mike first established The Varney Practice in Enfield 34 years ago, whilst he was working as the team physiotherapist for Tottenham Hotspur Football Club. In 1976, Mike started the first of his private physiotherapy clinics in Enfield, which was subsequently followed by two further practices.

 

The Mike Varney clinic at the Harlow Leisurezone continues our commitment to providing excellent treatment for our clients and is fully equipped with the latest physiotherapy technology. The clinic offers a holistic approach to treating clients with a range of treatments running from the more traditional physiotherapy practices such as manipulation, massage, interferential therapy and laser therapy to complementary therapies such as reflexology, homeopathy and hypnotherapy. We also offer other treatments and consultations including NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming), sports coaching and beauty therapy at the clinic.

 

Mike Varney Physiotherapy is accredited by several of the trade associations including the Chartered Society of Physiotherpists, Physio First, the AACP and the HPC and are registered with most private medical healthcare companies.

Mike Varney Physiotherapy is a member of The Chartered Society of Physiotherapists which is the professional, educational and trade union body for the UK's 48,000 chartered physiotherapists,  physiotherapy students and assistants.

 

 

Mike Varney Physiotherapy is a member of Physio First, which is the Organisation for Chartered Physiotherapists in Private Practice, launched in 1952 to promote the highest standards of clinical practice in physiotherapy. Their purpose is to help both the general public find highly qualified physiotherapists and to ensure that all practitioners, as members, have full access to training, latest news and that they continue in their professional development.

 

 

Mike Varney Physiotherapy is a member of The Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists [AACP] which is a Clinical Interest Group [CIG] of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy [CSP]. Its principle aim is the integration of Acupuncture into Physiotherapy Practice for the treatment of pain and systemic illness.

 

Mike Varney Physiotherapy is a registered member of The Health Professions Council (HPC), a regulator set up to protect the public. The register shows health professionals who meet their standards for their training, professional skills, behaviour and health. There are currently over 200,000 professionals on the register from 14 professions.
